Best Wedding Venues in Downtown Greensboro

I have worked in Downtown Greensboro since 2014 and I have seen an influx of new Venues in the last nine years. Most venues in the downtown area have both history and charm. Some are more intimate venues with bespoke details while others have a grandeur. These are the four best wedding venues in Downtown Greensboro that I love and I think you will too.

Blandwood Carriage House

Greensboro, NC

Blandwood Carriage House is a distinctive wedding venue with an intimate, romantic feel. This two story facility is the perfect space for a guest count of 130 or fewer. The Carriage House sits on the historic site of Blandwood Mansion and recently, it received a stunning and modern renovation. The space has a luxurious garden feel and the large bright windows allow you to feel like the outside is peeking in. This space holds 125 people comfortably inside with a lawn that holds over 300.

The property features a 1100 + year old golden gingko and other historic gardens, while the house is the oldest Italianate structure in the United States. You and your partner can stand on the front steps and transport yourselves back in time. Don't miss this historic space right in the heart of Downtown Greensboro and the reason Greensboro is the third largest city in the state of NC.

Cadillac Service Garage

Greensboro, NC

Cadillac Service Garage is in the heart of Downtown Greensboro as well and is suitable for weddings that are 200 plus. This historic site once was a garage that serviced the classic Cadillac.

This space has a luxurious feel with masculine touches. The black and white checkered floor bewitches your guests and takes them back in time from the moment they arrive. No event here is suitable without tons of candlelight, stunning ceremony florals, and a cool getaway car!

The Colonnade at Revolution Mills

Greensboro, NC

While this venue is not located in the heart of downtown, it is still a short drive and worth the mention. The historic Colonnade at Revolution Mills is a perfect spot for those who love a modern, industrial vibe. With in house catering by Pepper Moon, you will feel like you have been pampered from start to finish with this venue.

The garden is perfect for a bright and sunny outdoor ceremony, while the indoor space has Italianate railings with brick archways that will make your industrial, modern wedding feel classic and sophisticated.

Elm and Bain

Greensboro, NC

This brand new space opened up in the heart of downtown during the pandemic, but is already thriving. This space is located within the former Blue Bell Co. plant on the corner of Elm Street and Bain.

This venue offers tons of natural lighting through the industrial style windows and is owned by long time event industry professional Veronica Foster. You will not be disappointed in having your celebration here.

Check out their website for photos and inspiration!

McAlister- Leftwitch House

Greensboro, NC

The definition of Southern Charm is McAlister-Leftwitch House located in Downtown Greensboro. This dual house has enough space and yard space for your ceremony and offers several rooms for an indoor ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, and more!

They do offer all inclusive packages that can be a wonderful option for a one-stop-shop, or make your day unique and bring in your own outside vendors.
